Nivora keeps four customizable software lighting scenes close in the Mac menu bar. Tune each one in Settings, adjust an individual display when you need to, or set morning and evening times for a quieter rhythm through the day.

In Settings, give each scene its own Light and Warmth levels. Nivora saves them on your Mac and applies the chosen scene to available displays; individual display sliders remain ready for a finer adjustment.
Clear and bright
A brighter, cooler starting point.
Balanced focus
The default daytime scene in the schedule.
Softer evenings
The default evening scene in the schedule.
Settle into the dark
A dimmer, warmer manual choice.
Simple by design
Set one morning time and one evening time. Nivora switches between Steady and Dusk using their saved Light and Warmth levels; the other scenes remain ready when you want to choose for yourself.
Use separate Light and Warmth sliders for each available screen. An unsupported display is shown as unavailable.
Pick any scene. When the schedule is on, your choice remains until the next scheduled transition.
Optional Control–Option–1 to 4 selects scenes. Control–Option–Minus / Equals changes software Light by 5% on the display under your pointer or all displays. A conflicting Light shortcut disables that pair.
With Daily rhythm off, Nivora remembers your last chosen scene after quitting, but leaves colors untouched when reopened. Click Continue to apply it; a manual display change or restore clears the offer.
Optionally open Nivora when you log in. macOS may ask you to allow it in Login Items. Quitting normally restores the software colors Nivora changed.
Restore one adjusted display’s software colors without changing others, or turn off the schedule and try restoring all available displays. Monitor hardware settings stay as they are.
Light and Warmth adjust software display color where macOS permits it. On a compatible external display with a public DDC/CI connection, separate Backlight, Contrast, and Volume controls appear only after the display answers a capability read. These hardware controls are unavailable on many Macs, adapters, and monitors. Built-in display hardware controls remain in macOS; input switching is not supported.
