Agreement

This License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Loadchange ("we", "us") concerning your use of Shhh (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

License grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Mac App Store Usage Rules.

• For personal, non-commercial use.
• Non-exclusive and non-transferable.
• Distributed exclusively through the Mac App Store; this Agreement does not grant any rights to distribute the App through other channels.

Restrictions

You may not:

• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App, except as expressly permitted by applicable law or by Apple's standard end user license terms.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent applicable law forbids such restrictions.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.
• Use the App to play, store, or distribute content you do not have the legal right to access.

Open-source components

Shhh incorporates open-source software, including mpv (LGPLv2.1+) and other libraries listed in the App's About → Credits screen. Use of those components is also governed by their respective licenses, which are included with the App and take precedence over this Agreement for those specific components.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies.

Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions, except where Apple's standard end user license terms or local consumer-protection laws apply.
