Momentide Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

Overview

Momentide is a Mac menu bar calendar. It does not require a Momentide account, use advertising or analytics SDKs, or send your schedule to a developer-operated server.

Calendar and Reminders access

With your permission, Momentide uses Apple EventKit to read events and reminders from the accounts already connected to macOS. It requests the access needed to show and, where supported, manage those items. You can change access at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars or Reminders.

Where your data lives

Momentide does not run its own calendar storage service. Events and reminders remain in the calendars and lists you configured on your Mac. Those accounts may sync through Apple, Google, Microsoft or another provider under that provider’s settings and policies. Changes you make through Momentide can sync through the same account.

Local settings

App preferences are stored locally on your Mac using macOS UserDefaults. Momentide’s privacy manifest declares this use and declares no tracking or collected data types.

Purchases and website

Apple handles Mac App Store purchases, downloads and updates. These Momentide pages do not load advertising or analytics scripts. The site’s hosting provider may process routine request information, such as an IP address, to deliver these pages and protect the service.
